Finding Our Ground: 15-Minute Discovery Call (Free)

Successful therapy is built on a foundation of trust and connection. Because the therapeutic relationship is so vital, I offer a free, 15-minute initial consultation via video or telephone. This is a low-pressure space for you to share what you’re looking for and for us to see if we’re a good match. If I feel that a different approach or specialised service would better serve your needs, I will let you know and provide recommendations at this stage.

Mapping the Path: 60-Minute Assessment (£75)

If we decide to move forward, we’ll start with a comprehensive 60-minute initial assessment. During this hour, we’ll explore the focus of your therapy and discuss how CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) can be applied to your specific situation.

We’ll look at how your current challenges developed and the ways they impact your daily life. By the end of this session, I’ll be able to give you a clearer idea of the roadmap ahead; typically, this process involves between 12 and 20 sessions.

Cultivating Change: 50-Minute Treatment Sessions (£75 remote, £85 face to face)

Our regular treatment sessions are held weekly and last 50 minutes. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical—I truly believe that while I provide the clinical framework, you are the expert on your own life. At the start of our work, we’ll agree on specific goals to guide our progress, and we’ll check in on these regularly to ensure therapy is working for you.

Growing Your Independence

The ultimate goal is for you to reach a place where you no longer feel you need therapy to manage your OCD. I want you to feel fully confident in implementing the skills we’ve practiced on your own.

For CBT and ERP to be truly effective, the work must continue outside of our time together. To help you "take the therapy home," we will always set aside time in each session to collaborate on practical tasks or exercises for you to work on between our meetings.

"From the very first session, I felt a connection with Hayley, which made it easy for me to open up about my problems. She guided me through therapy and explained things when I struggled to understand. We worked well together, and I feel a lot better about myself than I did before, and I am continuing the work. Hayley has given me the tools, now it's up to me to take control and use those tools into the future. She was friendly and attentive and showed a genuine interest in me"
